I love this chick!

Yes, I realize it has been a very long time since I have posted. Between internet outages, football and parties, starting a new business with Tastefully Simple (which I LOVE), trying to read for two book clubs, starting back to school, trying to maintain the house, yadda yadda yadda, I haven't had much time to sit back, relax, and blog! I decided to focus on the biggest love of my life; Emerson. She is growing so stinkin fast! I can't believe how much personality she has. She and I have so much fun together: shopping, cleaning, watching tv, going on walks, and just laying together and laughing! She really is too sweet. See for yourself!
Emme found her thumb early on at about 4 weeks or so, but lately she can rarely be found without it in her mouth. She is definitely starting to teethe!
Oops! I totally uploaded the wrong pic here, but oh well! Emme was in mid sneeze I believe! We celebrated Musder's 60th birthday in August. Isn't she a hot tamale?!?!?! 4 generations has never looked better!

If you know me, you know I'm a tree climber. I don't know why I'm drawn to trees, but when I see a good one, I just have to climb it! (No, I'm not a dendraphiliac!) Emme looked so cute in the tree with the leaves as her backdrop. I can't wait until she is able to climb this one on her own!
Before Emerson was born, Musder couldn't resist buying this adorable Indian-inspired sparkly ensemble! For a fun day of shopping, I decided to throw together my own Indian-inspired ensemble (minus the sparkles) and match my little beauty!
Such a fashionista! Emerson loves trying on hats! She tolerated her Nana putting on multiple hats and taking multiple pictures without a fuss!
Woo hoo! She finally is able to play in her saucer! She LOVES being in the jungle with her animal friends! She laughs and plays and dances to the different jungle tunes. I love seeing her interact with her friends and have fun!

She's so hood! lol I love this pic. Who doesn't love being comfy in a hoodie and jeans? It's my favorite outfit! She looks so snug and comfy!

Emerson has had a lot of 'firsts' lately, and this day was her first Penn State tailgate! It was a little chilly, but she was a trooper! We were total tourists, visiting the Lion Shrine, all the downtown stores, having lunch at the Corner Room, stopping to see the pigs, and getting her first stuffed Nittany Lion! We Are.... PENN STATE!
It's no lie, Emme gets her stomach issues honest! I felt HORRIBLE that she displayed her lovely talents all over Sami's lap! Sami is a past student of mine who was SO EXCITED to come and meet Emerson. Poor girl... This is birth control in it's purest form... Sami was a trooper though. One might even say she is a pooper trooper! Ok, that was low, but it made me giggle... and even snort a little...

"She got it from her mama!" Now that Emme has learned that she can grab with her hands, she won't stop flashing people!

I always said we wouldn't gush over Emme and what a 'princess' she is... but she is a total princess... a rockin' princess!
PSU vs Alabama called for a tailgate party at home! We didn't plan on having a bunch of people over, but you know how it goes... We bleed blue and white! Emme was excited to don her PSU diggs again. She is definitely PSU proud!
So, I am going to make it a goal of mine to blog more often. I know the fam is anxious to see Emerson grow up, and I have had others ask me if I'm ever going to post again, so I promise to give it my best! Look forward to seeing some more recipes, random thoughts, digipages, and of course, Emme!
